District updates
We are currently seeking applications for all Police Districts, except Canterbury. As we open applications in this area, we will update the information on this page.
How do I apply?
Getting into Police takes some effort, but it's worth it.
Our application process is moving rapidly once you progress through initial vetting, so you’ll need to be at the initial PAT fitness standards, and ready to complete the psychometric assessment when you apply.
To get started, complete our expression of interest form here. We’ll then let you know if you are eligible to apply.
How long will it take?
The more prepared you are when you apply, the sooner you'll be ready to start your Police training.
If you have just applied and are waiting for your initial vetting to be completed please note time frames are longer than usual due to the volume of applicants at this point in the process. We will be in contact within 4-8 weeks. This is a great time to make sure you are ready for your online testing and Physical Appraisal Test
If you have any questions about applying, contact us.
